Introduction

The FurReal Walkalots Kitty F1998 is an interactive electronic plush cat designed to provide an engaging play experience. This toy allows children to take their plush pet for a walk using an attached leash. The kitty responds with walking movements, head swaying, tail wagging, and various kitten sounds and gestures, simulating a real pet interaction.

This model is a standalone unit and cannot be connected to other toys in the Walkalots series.

Recommended for ages 4 and above.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The toy requires 3 LR44 alkaline button batteries. Demonstration batteries are included, but it is recommended to replace them with fresh batteries for optimal performance.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the plush cat.
2. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver (not included), unscrew the battery compartment cover.
3. Remove the old batteries (if any) and insert 3 new LR44 alkaline button batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

2. Attaching the Leash

The leash comes in two parts. Connect the handle section to the leash section. Then, attach the leash to the collar on the plush cat. Ensure it is securely fastened.

Operating Instructions

Once batteries are installed and the leash is attached, your FurReal Walkalots Kitty is ready for interaction.

1. Activate Walking Motion: Gently push the leash forward. The kitty will begin to walk with light steps, swaying its head from side to side.
2. Tail Wagging: As the kitty walks, its spring-loaded tail will wag.
3. Sounds and Gestures: The toy will emit various cute kitten sounds and perform gestures during play, enhancing the interactive experience.

Care and Maintenance

• Cleaning: Surface clean only. Use a damp cloth to wipe away dirt. Do not immerse the toy in water.
• Storage: Store the toy in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
• Battery Care: Remove batteries if the toy will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting

• Toy not walking or making sounds:
  • Check if the batteries are correctly installed with the proper polarity.
  • Replace old batteries with fresh LR44 alkaline button batteries.
  • Ensure the leash is properly attached and gently pushed.
• Intermittent operation:
  • Batteries may be low. Replace them.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions to the toy's movement.
