Setup

1. Choose Mounting Method

The FANGOR monitor arm supports two installation methods: desk clamp and grommet mount. Select the method suitable for your desk.

2. Install Desk Mount

For Clamp Mount: Attach the desk clamp to the edge of your desk and tighten the screw until it is secure. Ensure the clamp is firmly gripping the desk surface.

For Grommet Mount: Insert the grommet bolt through the desk hole. Secure the base of the arm to the bolt from underneath the desk using the provided washer and nut. Tighten firmly.

3. Attach Monitor to VESA Plate

Remove the VESA plate from the monitor arm. Attach it to the back of your monitor using the appropriate screws. Ensure the screws are tightened securely but do not overtighten.

4. Mount Monitor to Arm

Slide the monitor (with the attached VESA plate) onto the monitor arm's mounting head. Ensure it clicks into place or is secured with any locking mechanism provided.

5. Adjust Gas Spring Tension

Use the provided hex key to adjust the gas spring tension. Turn clockwise to increase tension for heavier monitors, or counter-clockwise to decrease tension for lighter monitors. Adjust until the monitor stays at any desired height without drifting up or down.

Adjusting Monitor Position

• Height Adjustment: Gently push or pull the monitor up or down to the desired height. The gas spring will hold it in place once released.
• Tilt Adjustment: Tilt the monitor screen up or down to adjust the vertical viewing angle. The arm supports a tilt range of +60° to -45°.
• Swivel Adjustment: Swivel the monitor left or right to adjust the horizontal viewing angle. The arm allows for a 180° swivel range.
• Rotation: Rotate the monitor 360° to switch between landscape and portrait orientations.
• Forward/Backward Adjustment: Extend or retract the arm to adjust the monitor's distance from you. The arm provides approximately 500mm of forward/backward adjustment.

Maintenance
