2. Product Overview
The Nanlite FS-300 is a daylight-balanced LED monolight featuring an integrated design that combines the control unit, power adapter, and lamp body into one compact unit. This design contributes to its lightweight nature and efficient heat dissipation.

3. Setup
3.1 Mounting the Monolight
The FS-300 features a standard yoke with a 5/8-inch receiver for mounting onto light stands. Secure the monolight firmly to a stable light stand using the tightening knob on the yoke.
3.2 Attaching Light Modifiers
The monolight is equipped with a Bowens style light modifier mount. To attach a modifier (e.g., reflector, softbox):
- Align the three mounting tabs on the modifier with the corresponding slots on the monolight's front.
- Insert the modifier and rotate it clockwise until it clicks securely into place.
To remove, press the release button on the mount and rotate the modifier counter-clockwise.

3.3 Power Connection
Connect the included power cable to the AC input port on the rear of the monolight. Ensure the connection is secure before plugging the other end into a compatible AC power outlet (100-240V AC).

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
Locate the power switch on the rear control panel of the monolight. Flip the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the device. Flip it to 'OFF' to power down.
4.2 Brightness Adjustment
Use the control knob on the rear panel to adjust the brightness (intensity) of the light output. Rotate clockwise to increase brightness and counter-clockwise to decrease it. The current brightness level will be displayed on the integrated screen.
4.3 Special Effects
The FS-300 includes 11 pre-programmed practical lighting effects. To access and select these effects:
- Press the dedicated effects button (often blue) on the control panel.
- Use the control knob to scroll through the available effects: INT Loop, Flash, Pulse, Storm, TV, Paparazzi, Candle/Fire, Bad Bulb, Firework, Explosion, and Welding.
- Press the knob to confirm your selection.

4.4 Remote Control (if applicable)

5. Maintenance
