3. Setup

3.1. Charging the Device

Before initial use, fully charge your LIGE Smart Watch. Connect the charging cable to the charging port on the watch and plug the USB end into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The watch display will indicate charging status.

3.2. App Installation and Pairing

1. Download the companion application from your smartphone's app store. The app is compatible with Android 4.4 and above, and iOS 8.0 and above.
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
3. Open the installed application and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account or log in.
4. Within the app, navigate to the device pairing section. The app will search for available devices.
5. Select your LIGE Smart Watch from the list of detected devices to initiate the pairing process. Confirm any pairing requests on both your phone and the watch.
6. Once paired, the watch will synchronize data with your smartphone.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Navigation

The LIGE Smart Watch features a full touch screen for navigation. Swipe left, right, up, or down to access different functions and menus. Tap to select an option or confirm an action. Use the physical button (if present) to return to the home screen or activate the display.

4.2. Call and Message Notifications

Once paired with your smartphone, the watch will vibrate to notify you of incoming calls, SMS messages, and notifications from social media applications (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, WeChat). You can answer or hang up calls directly from the watch interface.

4.3. Heart Rate Monitoring

5. IP68 Waterproof Information

The LIGE Smart Watch has an IP68 waterproof rating. This means it is resistant to sweat, accidental rain, and splashes, making it suitable for daily hand washing and light water exposure. It is not designed for deep sea diving, sauna use, or hot bathing. Prolonged submersion or exposure to hot water may damage the device.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the watch and strap with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly.
• Avoid Chemicals: Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents, as these can damage the watch's finish and seals.
• Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Charging: Use only the provided charging cable. Avoid exposing the charging contacts to water or dirt.

7. Troubleshooting

• Watch not turning on: Ensure the watch is fully charged. Connect it to the charger for at least 30 minutes.
• Cannot pair with smartphone:
  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the watch.
  2. Make sure the watch is within range of your phone.
  3. Restart both your phone and the watch.
  4. Try unpairing and re-pairing the device through the app.
• Inaccurate heart rate/sleep data: Ensure the watch is worn snugly on your wrist, not too tight or too loose. Clean the sensor on the back of the watch.
• Notifications not received: Check app permissions on your smartphone to ensure the companion app has access to notifications. Verify that notifications are enabled within the app settings.
