4.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories from the toaster oven.
  2. Place the toaster oven on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance (at least 4 inches) on all sides and above the appliance for proper ventilation.
  3. Do not place the appliance directly against a wall or under cabinets during operation.

4.2 Initial Cleaning

  1. Before first use, wipe down the exterior of the toaster oven with a damp cloth.
  2. Wash the oven rack, baking pan, and crumb tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  3. Insert the crumb tray into the bottom slot of the oven. Place the oven rack in the desired position.

4.3 First Use (Burn-Off)

It is recommended to run the toaster oven empty for approximately 15 minutes on the highest temperature setting (450°F) with the function set to 'Bake' before cooking food. This helps to burn off any manufacturing residues and odors. A slight smoke or odor is normal during this process. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
