5. Installation Guide

Follow these steps for proper hardware installation.

5.1 CPU Installation

  1. Open the CPU socket lever and lift the load plate.
  2. Carefully align the CPU with the socket, ensuring the triangular mark on the CPU matches the mark on the socket.
  3. Gently place the CPU into the socket without forcing it.
  4. Close the load plate and press down the lever until it locks into place.

5.2 CPU Cooler Installation

Install your compatible LGA 1200 CPU cooler according to its manufacturer's instructions. Apply thermal paste if not pre-applied.

5.3 Memory Installation

  1. Open the clips on both ends of the DIMM slots.
  2. Align the notch on the DDR4 memory module with the key in the DIMM slot.
  3. Insert the module firmly into the slot until the clips snap into place.

5.4 M.2 SSD Installation

  1. Locate the M.2 slots on the motherboard.
  2. Remove the M.2 heatsink and stand-off screw.
  3. Insert the M.2 SSD into the slot at an angle.
  4. Gently push down the SSD and secure it with the stand-off screw.
  5. Reinstall the M.2 heatsink for optimal thermal performance.

5.5 Graphics Card Installation

  1. Select an available PCIe x16 slot.
  2. Remove the corresponding expansion slot cover from your computer case.
  3. Align the graphics card with the slot and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
  4. Secure the card with a screw to the case.
