1. Introduction

The DASH Tasti-Crisp™ Electric Air Fryer Oven is designed to cook healthier, crispy food using AirCrisp® Technology. This compact appliance uses hot air instead of oil, reducing added fat by 70-80%. Its 2.6-quart capacity and digital interface make it ideal for small spaces and quick meal preparation.

4. Setup

Before first use, ensure the air fryer is properly set up.

1. Unpack: Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the appliance.
2. Clean: Wash the crisper basket and crisper tray with warm, soapy water. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before use.
3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 6 inches of clear space around the appliance for proper air circulation. The dimensions are approximately 8.7"D x 10.7"W x 11.3"H.
4. Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The appliance operates on 110 Volts.

5. Operating Instructions

The DASH Tasti-Crisp™ Air Fryer features a user-friendly digital control panel.

1. Prepare Food: Place your ingredients into the crisper basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking.
2. Insert Basket: Slide the crisper basket firmly into the air fryer until it clicks into place.
3. Set Temperature: Use the TEMP arrows (up/down) on the digital display to set your desired cooking temperature. The temperature range is 200-400°F.
4. Set Time: Use the TIME arrows (up/down) to set the cooking duration. The timer can be set for up to 60 minutes.
5. Start Cooking: Press the START/STOP button to begin the air frying process. The appliance will automatically begin heating.
6. Using Presets: The air fryer includes three saved preset buttons (PRE 1, PRE 2, PRE 3). You can program these buttons with your frequently used time and temperature settings for quick access. Consult the included recipe book for default preset settings or instructions on how to customize them.
7. Checking Food: You can pull out the crisper basket at any time during cooking to check or shake your food. The air fryer will automatically pause and resume once the basket is reinserted.
8. Auto Shut-Off: The air fryer will automatically shut off once the timer reaches zero, preventing overcooking.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your air fryer.

1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Clean Crisper Basket & Tray: The non-stick crisper basket and crisper tray are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
3. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish.
4. Clean Interior: For stubborn residue inside the main unit, gently wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid getting water into the electrical components.
5. Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the appliance in a cool, dry place.
