- Turn On/Off: Press the main switch (the larger, textured button) to turn the flashlight on or off.

Release the button to turn off the strobe. This function provides immediate access to a disorienting strobe for emergencies or self-defense.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your KLARUS EP10 flashlight.
- Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a clean, soft cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- O-rings: Periodically inspect the O-rings (seals) for wear and tear. Replace them if damaged to maintain the flashlight's IPX6 waterproof rating. A spare O-ring is included in the package. Apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the O-rings to keep them supple and ensure a good seal.
- Threads: Keep the threads of the tail cap and barrel head clean. Lubricate them occasionally with silicone grease to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear.
- Storage: If storing the flashlight for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent potential leakage and damage. Store in a cool, dry place.
- Water Resistance: The EP10 is rated IPX6 waterproof, meaning it is protected against powerful water jets. Ensure the USB-C charging port is fully covered by rotating the barrel head when not charging to maintain its water resistance.
