6. Setup

6.1 Powering the Unit

Your boombox can be powered by either AC power or batteries.

AC Power Operation:

  1. Ensure the unit is turned OFF.
  2. Connect the supplied AC power cord to the AC IN jack on the back of the unit.
  3. Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard AC wall outlet (120V ~ 60Hz).

DC (Battery) Power Operation:

  1. Ensure the unit is turned OFF and disconnected from AC power.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the unit.
  3. Insert 6 x "C" size batteries (not included) into the compartment, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: When the AC power cord is connected, the unit will automatically switch to AC power, and the batteries will not be used.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 General Operation

7.2 CD Player Operation

  1. Press the MODE button to select CD mode. The LED display will show "CD".
  2. Open the CD compartment door by gently lifting it.
  3. Place a CD (or CD-R/CD-RW) with the label side facing up onto the spindle.
  4. Close the CD compartment door securely.
  5. The CD will begin playing automatically. If not, press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
  6. To pause playback, press PLAY/PAUSE. Press again to resume.
  7. To stop playback, press the STOP button.
  8. To skip tracks, press SKIP/SEARCH (◀◀ / ►►) briefly.
  9. To search within a track, press and hold SKIP/SEARCH (◀◀ / ►►).

Programming CD Tracks:

  1. In CD stop mode, press the PROGRAM (PROG) button. The LED display will show "01".
  2. Use the SKIP/SEARCH (◀◀ / ►►) buttons to select the desired track.
  3. Press PROGRAM (PROG) again to confirm the track. The display will show "02".
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to program up to 20 tracks.
  5. After programming, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback of the programmed sequence.
  6. To clear the program, press the STOP button twice.

7.3 AM/FM Radio Operation

  1. Press the MODE button to select FM or AM radio mode. The LED display will show the frequency.
  2. Extend the FM telescopic antenna for better FM reception. For AM, the antenna is internal.
  3. Rotate the TUNING control knob to manually tune to your desired radio station.
  4. Adjust the VOLUME control knob to your preferred listening level.

7.4 Bluetooth Operation

  1. Press the MODE button to select Bluetooth mode. The LED display will show "BT" and flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your external device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) and search for available devices.
  3. Select "CD6925" from the list of found devices.
  4. Once paired, the "BT" indicator on the LED display will stop flashing and remain solid.
  5. You can now play audio from your Bluetooth device through the boombox. Use your device's controls or the boombox's PLAY/PAUSE and SKIP/SEARCH buttons to control playback.

7.5 Auxiliary Input Operation

  1. Press the MODE button to select AUX mode (if available as a distinct mode, otherwise ensure no other media is playing).
  2. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX IN jack on the boombox.
  3. Connect the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the headphone jack or line-out jack of your external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone).
  4. Play audio from your external device. The sound will be output through the boombox speakers.
  5. Adjust the volume using the boombox's VOLUME control knob and/or your external device's volume control.
