5.2 Initial Charge

Place the robot onto the charging station, ensuring the charging contacts align. The robot will begin charging. For first-time use, fully charge the robot before operation (approximately 4-5 hours). A full charge provides up to 150 minutes of cleaning time.

5.3 App Download and Connection

To unlock advanced features and control, download the Zigma app on your smartphone.

  1. Scan the QR code on the side of the robot or its packaging to download the Zigma app.
  2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your device. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The Zigma Spark 981 supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only.
  3. Press and hold the robot's power button for 3-5 seconds until you hear a sound, indicating it's ready for pairing.
  4. Confirm the operation in the app and wait for the connection to succeed.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Zigma Spark 981.

7.1 Emptying the Dustbin and Cleaning the Filter

  1. Open the top cover of the robot and remove the dustbin.
  2. Open the dustbin lid and empty its contents into a trash bin.
  3. Remove the HEPA filter and primary filter. Tap them gently to remove dust. Do not wash the HEPA filter with water.
  4. Rinse the dustbin with water if necessary, ensuring it is completely dry before reinstallation.

7.2 Cleaning the Water Tank and Mopping Pad

  1. Remove the water tank from the robot.
  2. Empty any remaining water.
  3. Detach the mopping pad and wash it by hand or machine. Allow it to air dry completely.
  4. Rinse the water tank and allow it to air dry.

  1. Remove the main brush cover and lift out the main brush. Use the cleaning tool to remove hair and debris.
  2. Gently pull off the side brushes. Remove any tangled hair or debris. Reinstall them, ensuring they click into place.
