- Insert the red test lead into the VΩHz°C/°F input jack.
4.3 Bluetooth Connection
The AP-7200APP can connect to a mobile device via Bluetooth for remote monitoring and data analysis using the "AiLink" app.

Figure 4: Step-by-step guide for Bluetooth connection with the AiLink mobile application.
- Download the App: Scan the QR code provided in the product packaging or search for "AiLink" in the Google Play Store (for Android) or Apple App Store (for iOS). Install the application. Download AiLink App
- Open the App: Launch the AiLink application on your mobile phone.
- Connect the Meter: Turn on the clamp meter. In the app, press the "Add" button or navigate to the device connection screen. The app will search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
- Pair Device: Select the AP-7200APP from the list of available devices. The meter will automatically pair with your phone.
- Monitor Data: Once connected, you can view real-time measurement data, analyze trends, and save information directly from your mobile device. The maximum effective Bluetooth distance is 10-15 meters.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 General Measurement Procedure
- Turn the rotary switch to the desired measurement function.
- Connect the test leads or clamp the conductor as appropriate for the measurement.
- Read the measurement value on the LCD display.
- When finished, turn the rotary switch to the "OFF" position.
5.2 AC/DC Current Measurement (Clamp)
This function measures current without breaking the circuit.
- Turn the rotary switch to the 60A or 400A AC/DC current range.
- Press the jaw-opening handle to open the clamp jaws.
- Enclose a single conductor (not a bundle of wires) within the clamp jaws. Ensure the jaws are fully closed.
- Read the current value on the LCD.

Figure 5: Measuring AC/DC current using the clamp function.
5.3 AC/DC Voltage Measurement
- Turn the rotary switch to the V~ (AC Voltage) or V- (DC Voltage) position.
- If necessary, press the SEL button to switch between AC and DC voltage.
- Connect the test leads in parallel to the circuit or component under test.
- Read the voltage value on the LCD.
5.4 Resistance, Capacitance, Continuity, Diode Measurement
- Turn the rotary switch to the Ω position.
- Press the SEL button to cycle through Resistance (Ω), Capacitance (F), Continuity (buzzer icon), and Diode (diode icon) functions.
- Connect the test leads to the component under test. For continuity, a beep indicates a continuous circuit. For diode, the forward voltage drop will be displayed.
5.5 Frequency/Duty Cycle Measurement
- Turn the rotary switch to the Hz position.
- Connect the test leads to the circuit where frequency or duty cycle is to be measured.
- Press the Hz/Duty button to toggle between frequency (Hz) and duty cycle (%).
5.6 Temperature Measurement
Use the included K-type thermocouple for temperature measurements.
- Turn the rotary switch to the °C/°F position.
- Insert the temperature probe into the COM and VΩHz°C/°F input jacks, observing polarity.
- Place the tip of the temperature probe on or in the object whose temperature is to be measured.
- Press the SEL button to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
