3. Package Contents
Please verify that all items are present and in good condition upon opening the package:
- 1x Proxicast ANT-132-S02 Ultra Low Profile WiFi Antenna with integrated 3 ft Coax Cables
- 1x Mounting Nut
- 1x Adhesive Pad (pre-attached or separate)
4. Installation and Setup
Follow these steps for proper installation of your ANT-132-S02 antenna:
- Choose a Mounting Location: Select a flat, stable surface for mounting. Ensure the location allows for the antenna's cables to reach your Wi-Fi device without excessive strain or bending. The antenna is designed for through-hole mounting on panels, enclosures, or ceilings.
- Drill Mounting Hole: Drill a single hole of appropriate diameter (refer to specifications for exact dimensions, typically around 0.5 inches) at the chosen mounting point. Ensure the hole is clean and free of burrs.
- Insert Antenna: Pass the antenna's threaded shaft and integrated cables through the drilled hole from the outside of the mounting surface.
- Secure Antenna: From the inside of the mounting surface, thread the provided mounting nut onto the antenna's shaft. Tighten the nut securely by hand, then use a wrench to ensure a firm, stable connection. Do not overtighten. The adhesive pad on the antenna's base provides additional stability and sealing.
- Connect to Device: Connect the two RP-SMA male connectors from the antenna's coax cables to the corresponding RP-SMA female ports on your Wi-Fi router, access point, or other compatible device. Ensure the connections are finger-tight.

5. Operating Instructions
Once properly installed and connected, the Proxicast ANT-132-S02 antenna operates passively to enhance your Wi-Fi signal. No specific user interaction is required for its operation.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi device (router, access point) is powered on and configured correctly for network operation.
- The antenna will automatically receive and transmit Wi-Fi signals across its supported frequency bands (2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz, 6 GHz).
- For optimal performance, ensure the antenna is not obstructed by large metal objects or dense materials that could interfere with signal propagation.

6. Maintenance
The Proxicast ANT-132-S02 antenna is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance due to its robust construction and IP67 weatherproof rating.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the antenna's surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust or dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Inspection: Occasionally check the mounting nut for tightness and ensure the cables are not damaged or excessively bent.
- Painting: The antenna's surface is paintable, allowing for color customization to match its environment. Ensure the paint used is suitable for outdoor use if installed externally.

7. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your ANT-132-S02 antenna, consider the following troubleshooting steps:
- Poor Signal Strength:
- Ensure the antenna is mounted in an optimal location, free from obstructions like large metal objects, thick walls, or other electronic devices that could cause interference.
- Verify that the RP-SMA connectors are securely attached to your Wi-Fi device. Loose connections can significantly degrade performance.
- Check your Wi-Fi router/access point settings to ensure it is operating on the correct frequency band (2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz, or 6 GHz) and that its transmit power is set appropriately.
- No Wi-Fi Connection:
- Confirm that your Wi-Fi device is powered on and functioning correctly.
- Ensure the antenna cables are not damaged (kinked, cut, or severely bent).
- Test with another known-good antenna or Wi-Fi device if possible, to isolate the problem.
- Physical Damage:
- Despite its robust design, inspect the antenna for any visible signs of damage, especially after severe weather conditions if installed outdoors.
- If the cables or connectors are damaged, the antenna may need replacement.
