Maintenance

Cleaning

After each use, especially in fresh water, wipe down the boat with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure no debris is caught in the propeller or rudder. If operating in slightly murky water, rinse the propeller and rudder area with clean fresh water.

Storage

Always remove the Li-ion battery from the boat and the AAA batteries from the remote control when storing the product. Store the boat and remote in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The included display stand can be used for convenient storage.

Propeller Care

Inspect the propeller regularly for any damage or entanglement. A spare propeller is included in the package for replacement if needed. Use the provided screwdriver to replace the propeller.

Troubleshooting

  • Boat not moving in water: Ensure the boat is fully submerged enough for the water sensor to activate the propeller. Check that the boat battery is charged and correctly installed, and that the remote control is powered on and paired.
  • Loss of control/short range: Check the remote control batteries. If the low battery alarm sounds, retrieve the boat immediately. Ensure there are no strong interference sources nearby.
  • Boat capsizes frequently: While the boat has a self-righting function, extreme waves or improper handling can cause repeated capsizing. Adjust speed and turning in rough conditions.
  • Reduced speed/performance: Check for debris wrapped around the propeller. Ensure the battery is fully charged.
