Setup
1. Charging the Earbuds and Case
Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. Place the earbuds into the charging case. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the case and to a power source. The indicator lights on the case will show the charging status. A full charge for the case and earbuds can take up to 6 hours.

2. Bluetooth Pairing
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically enter pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Select "Jam Athlete" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation, and the indicator lights on the earbuds will change.
The earbuds are compatible with Bluetooth devices and voice assistants.
3. Fitting the Earbuds
The Jam Audio Athlete Earbuds feature ultra-secure over-ear hooks for a stable fit during physical activity. Choose the ear tips that provide the best seal and comfort for your ears. Gently place the earbud into your ear canal and adjust the over-ear hook to rest securely around your ear.

Operating the Earbuds
Controls
The earbuds feature integrated controls for managing audio playback and calls. Specific button functions may vary slightly, but generally include:
- Play/Pause: Single press on either earbud.
- Skip Track: Double press on the right earbud for next track, left for previous.
- Volume Control: Typically long press on right for volume up, left for volume down.
- Answer/End Call: Single press on either earbud during an incoming call.
- Reject Call: Long press on either earbud during an incoming call.
- Activate Voice Assistant: Triple press on either earbud.

Hands-Free Calling
The integrated microphone allows for hands-free calling. When a call comes in, you can answer or reject it directly from the earbuds without needing to access your phone. Audio will automatically switch between music and calls.

Maintenance
Cleaning

Sweat and Water Resistance (IPX5)
The earbuds are IPX5 sweat and weather resistant, meaning they can withstand sweat and light splashes of water. They are not designed for submersion in water. Ensure the charging port is dry before charging to prevent damage.

Storage
When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
