Maintenance
General Care
To ensure the longevity of your Beats Flex earbuds, store them in a clean, dry place when not in use. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures, moisture, or corrosive materials. Do not attempt to disassemble the earbuds, as this may void your warranty.
Cleaning
Gently wipe the earbuds and Flex-Form cable with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For the eartips, you can remove them and clean them with a mild soap solution and water, then rinse thoroughly and allow them to dry completely before reattaching. Do not use abrasive cleaners or submerge the earbuds in water.
Troubleshooting
No Power / Not Charging
- Ensure the USB-C charging cable is securely connected to both the earbuds and the power source.
- Try using a different USB-C cable or power adapter to rule out a faulty accessory.
- Verify the power outlet or USB port is functional.
Pairing Issues
- Make sure your Beats Flex are powered on and in pairing mode (indicator light flashing).
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is within range (typically 30 feet or 10 meters).
- For Apple devices, try forgetting the device in Bluetooth settings and re-pairing.
- For Android devices, ensure the Beats app is installed and updated.
- Restart both your Beats Flex and your device.
Sound Quality Issues
- Check that the eartips are properly seated in your ears to ensure a good seal. Try different sized eartips for a better fit.
- Ensure the volume on both your Beats Flex and your connected device is adjusted appropriately.
- Clean the eartips and speaker grilles to remove any debris that might be obstructing sound.
- Move closer to your connected device to avoid interference or signal dropouts.
