3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Removing Transit Bolts

Before using the washing machine, remove all transit bolts located at the rear of the appliance. These bolts secure the drum during transport and must be removed to prevent damage during operation. Keep the bolts for future transport if needed. Use the provided plastic caps to cover the holes.

3.2 Positioning and Leveling

Place the washing machine on a flat, stable floor, ensuring there is adequate space around it for ventilation and access. Adjust the adjustable feet at the bottom of the appliance to ensure it is perfectly level. A level machine reduces vibration and noise during operation.

3.3 Water Connection

Connect the cold water inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4" thread. Ensure the hose is securely tightened to prevent leaks. Position the drain hose into a standpipe or over the edge of a sink, ensuring it is securely fixed to prevent displacement during draining. The drain hose should not be kinked or submerged in water.

3.4 Electrical Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage and frequency of your electrical supply match the specifications on the appliance's rating plate. Do not use extension cords or adapters.

3.5 First Use

Before washing laundry, run an empty wash cycle at 60°C with a small amount of detergent to clean the drum and remove any manufacturing residues.

4. Operating

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The control panel features a program selector knob, function buttons, and a display. The program selector allows you to choose the desired wash cycle. Function buttons enable additional options like temperature adjustment, spin speed, and delay start. The display shows cycle information and remaining time.

4.2 Loading Laundry

Open the washing machine door and load laundry loosely into the drum, ensuring not to overload it. Refer to the appliance's capacity (7 kg) and the specific program's recommended load size. Close the door firmly.

4.3 Adding Detergent

Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer. Add the appropriate amount of detergent to the main wash compartment (usually marked 'II') and fabric softener to its designated compartment (usually marked with a flower symbol). For pre-wash, add detergent to the pre-wash compartment (usually marked 'I'). Close the drawer gently.

4.4 Selecting a Program

Turn the program selector knob to choose the desired wash program based on the fabric type and soil level. The machine offers 8 programs. The display will show the default temperature and spin speed for the selected program. Adjust these settings using the corresponding function buttons if needed.

4.5 Starting a Cycle

Press the Start/Pause button to begin the wash cycle. The door will lock, and the machine will start filling with water.

4.6 Interrupting or Changing a Cycle

To pause a cycle, press the Start/Pause button. To change a program, turn the program selector to the 'OFF' position, wait for the door to unlock (if applicable), then select a new program and press Start/Pause. Note that changing a program mid-cycle may result in water or detergent wastage.

4.7 End of Cycle

At the end of the cycle, the machine will signal with an audible alert or a message on the display. The door will unlock. Remove the laundry promptly to prevent creasing and odors. Turn the program selector to 'OFF' and close the water tap.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser

Regularly clean the detergent dispenser drawer to prevent detergent residue buildup. Pull out the drawer, remove any removable inserts, and rinse them under running water. Use a brush to clean any stubborn residue inside the drawer compartment. Reinsert the components and push the drawer back in.

5.2 Cleaning the Door Seal

Wipe the rubber door seal after each wash to remove lint, dirt, and moisture. This prevents mold growth and unpleasant odors. Periodically clean the folds of the seal thoroughly with a damp cloth.

5.3 Cleaning the Pump Filter

The pump filter collects small items and lint. It should be cleaned regularly to ensure proper drainage. Locate the filter access panel at the bottom front of the machine. Place a shallow container underneath to catch any residual water. Unscrew the filter slowly, allow water to drain, then remove and clean the filter under running water. Reinsert and tighten the filter securely.

5.4 Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior surfaces of the washing machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.

5.5 Descaling

In areas with hard water, limescale can build up inside the machine. Use a suitable descaling product specifically designed for washing machines, following the manufacturer's instructions. Run an empty wash cycle with the descaler.

5.6 Winter Storage

If the appliance is to be stored in an unheated area during winter, drain all water from the hoses and pump to prevent freezing and damage. Disconnect the water inlet hose and drain the remaining water. Run a short drain cycle if possible.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Machine does not start: Check if the power cord is plugged in, the door is closed properly, and the Start/Pause button has been pressed. Ensure the water tap is open.
  • No water filling: Check if the water tap is open and the water inlet hose is not kinked or blocked. Ensure the water supply pressure is adequate.
  • Water not draining: Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Clean the pump filter (refer to Section 5.3).
  • Excessive vibration/noise: Ensure the transit bolts have been removed (refer to Section 3.1) and the machine is perfectly level (refer to Section 3.2). Distribute laundry evenly in the drum.
  • Poor wash results: Check detergent dosage, water temperature, and selected program suitability for the load. Avoid overloading the machine.
  • Error codes: If an error code appears on the display, consult the specific error code section in the full manual (if available) or contact customer support, providing the exact code displayed.

If the problem persists after checking these points, unplug the appliance and contact qualified service personnel.
