Setup

Battery and Power Supply

The WiMiUS H6 Trail Camera requires 8 Pcs 1.5V AA batteries (not included) or an external power supply (not included). For external power, use a DC 6V/2.0A supply with a 3.5MMx1.3MM Coaxial DC Interface. Solar panel power is also supported.

SD Card Installation

1. Ensure the camera is powered off.
2. Locate the SD/SDHC card slot.
3. Turn on the SD/SDHC card switch (UP).
4. Insert a Class 6 or faster SD/SDHC card (max support 32GB) into the slot. If using a micro-SD card, an adapter is required.

Initial Preparation

• Before first use, remove the blue protective film from the camera lens and sensors.

Operating Instructions

Modes of Operation

• OFF Mode: The camera is powered off. Use this mode for battery installation, SD card insertion, or when not in use.
• TEST Mode: Allows you to access the camera's menu, view captured media, and adjust settings. The screen will be active in this mode.
• ON Mode (Working Mode): The camera is active and ready to capture images or videos based on motion detection. In this mode, the screen will turn black after a short period to conserve power and avoid detection. To exit ON mode, press the "OFF" or "TEST" button.

Capturing Images and Videos

The WiMiUS H6 captures high-quality images and videos with its 16MP camera and 1080P video capabilities. The 0.5-second trigger speed ensures that fast-moving subjects are captured effectively. The 120° wide-angle lens provides a broad field of view.

Common Issues and Solutions

• Camera not powering on: Check battery orientation and charge level. Ensure external power supply (if used) is correctly connected and providing sufficient power.

• SD card error: Ensure the SD card is properly inserted and the switch is in the UP position. Format the SD card in the camera's settings menu. Try a different SD card (Class 6 or faster, max 32GB).
• No motion detection: Adjust PIR sensitivity settings. Ensure the camera is positioned correctly within the detection range (up to 65 feet). Clear any obstructions in front of the PIR sensor.
