Product Overview and Functions
The FRC-211T remote control allows you to manage various functions of your compatible Toshiba LED ceiling light. Below is a diagram illustrating the remote control's layout and button functions.

Remote Control Functions:
- Transmitting Part: When operating, point this part towards the lighting fixture.
- Full Light On: Turns on the light to full brightness.
- Light On: Activates the light with the brightness and color temperature settings stored in this button. Factory default is full light.
- Brightness Adjustment (Bright/Dark): Adjusts the brightness of the light.
- Color Temperature Adjustment (Bulb Color/White Color): Adjusts the light color from warm white to cool white.
- Time/Minute: Advances the time display (hour/minute).
- Wake-up Timer: Sets a wake-up timer reservation.
- Memory: Stores current brightness and light color (dimming state) settings, and sets the time.
- CH Switching: Selects the channel for the lighting fixture.
- Mode: Switches between two operational modes.
- Scene: Turns on the light with the brightness and color temperature settings stored in the "Scene" button.
- Night Light: Turns on the LED night light.
- Off: Turns off the light.
- Gentle Off Timer: Sets a gentle off timer reservation.
- 30 min/60 min: Turns off the light after 30 minutes or 60 minutes.
- Reservation Cancel: Cancels any set reservations or timers.
- Reset: Resets the remote control settings.
- Open Cover: Slide the cover in the direction of the arrow to open.
Remote Control Display Section:

- Battery Remaining Display: Appears when battery power is low. If displayed, replace both batteries with new dry cell batteries.
- Clock Display: Shows the current time. If a reservation is confirmed, the reservation time will be displayed.
- CH Display: Shows the selected channel.
- Remaining Time Display: Shows the remaining time until the light turns off when the gentle off timer is set.
- Timer Reservation Display: Appears when a timer has been set.
Setup
Battery Installation:
- Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
- Insert two AAA (UM-4) alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.
Note: Always use new batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
Operating Instructions
Basic Operation:
- Turning On/Off: Press the "Light On" button to turn on the light, or "Off" to turn it off.
- Adjusting Brightness: Use the "Brightness" buttons (up/down arrows) to increase or decrease light intensity.
- Adjusting Color Temperature: Use the "Bulb Color/White Color" buttons (left/right arrows) to change the light's color from warm white to cool white.
Advanced Functions:
- Scene Selection: Press the "Scene" button to recall pre-set brightness and color temperature settings.
- Memory Function: To store your preferred brightness and color temperature, adjust the light to your desired settings, then press and hold the "Memory" button until the light blinks, indicating the settings are saved.
- Off Timer: Press the "Gentle Off Timer" button to set a gradual turn-off timer, or the "30 min/60 min" button for a fixed duration timer.
- Channel Switching: If you have multiple Toshiba lighting fixtures, use the "CH Switching" button to select the specific fixture you wish to control. Ensure the remote's channel matches the fixture's channel.
Maintenance
Battery Replacement:
When the battery remaining indicator appears on the remote's display, or if the remote control's range decreases, it is time to replace the batteries.
- Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
- Remove the old AAA batteries.
- Insert two new AAA (UM-4) alkaline batteries, paying close attention to the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.
Caution: Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

Common Issues:
- Remote not responding:
- Ensure the remote is compatible with your lighting fixture. This remote is only for specific Toshiba LED ceiling lights.
- Check if the batteries are depleted. Replace with new AAA batteries if necessary.
- Verify that the battery polarity (+/-) is correct.
- Ensure there are no electronic devices (e.g., microwave ovens, cordless phones, wireless devices) nearby that could cause interference. Try operating the remote from a distance or after turning off other devices.
- For Lighting Fixture Remotes:
- Is the wall switch ON? The light will not turn on if the wall switch is OFF.
- Does the remote control channel match the fixture's channel? If they do not match, the remote will not respond.
- Have you tried resetting the remote? If new batteries do not resolve the issue, press the reset switch (if available on your remote model) to reset the remote.
