Installation Guide

Follow these steps to set up your MoCA Network Adapter for optimal performance:

Step 1: Connect the First MoCA Adapter to Your Router/Gateway

1. Connect one MoCA adapter to your router via the Ethernet port.
2. Connect the coaxial cable from your wall outlet to the 'Coax In' port on the MoCA adapter.
3. If your router/gateway has a coax port, you may need to use a bi-directional MoCA splitter (not included) to connect both the adapter and your gateway to the same wall coax outlet.
4. Plug in the power adapter to the MoCA device and an electrical outlet.

Step 2: Connect the Second MoCA Adapter to Your Device

1. In the room where you need extended Ethernet connectivity, connect the second MoCA adapter to the wall's coaxial outlet.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable from the MoCA adapter's Ethernet port to your device (e.g., HDTV, set-top box, PC, gaming console).
3. Plug in the power adapter to the second MoCA device and an electrical outlet.

Step 3: Verify Connection

Ensure the Power and Coax LEDs (lights) on both MoCA adapters are solid green. This indicates a successful connection and active MoCA network.
