3.2 Initial Battery Voltage Check
It is recommended to check the voltage of your LiFePO4 battery upon receipt to ensure it is operational. If the battery voltage is very low (e.g., 2-3V), the Battery Management System (BMS) might be in a sleep mode for protection during shipping.
3.3 Waking Up a 0V Battery
The LiTime charger supports a 0V activation function. To wake up a deeply discharged battery:
- Connect the charger's DC output to the battery terminals (positive to positive, negative to negative).
- Plug the charger into an AC power source.
- The charger will attempt to reactivate the battery. This process typically takes only about 3 seconds.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Connecting the Charger
Ensure the charger is disconnected from the AC power source before connecting to the battery.
- Connect the DC output cables of the charger to your 12V LiFePO4 battery. Use either the M8 ring terminals or the Anderson connector, ensuring correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative).
- Plug the AC input cable of the charger into a standard 100V-240V AC, 50Hz-60Hz power outlet.

5. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your LiFePO4 battery and charger:
- Keep the charger clean and free from dust and debris.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the charger, especially around the cooling fan.
- Regularly check battery terminals and connections for cleanliness and tightness.
- Store the charger in a dry, cool place when not in use.
- For long-term storage of the battery, ensure it is charged to approximately 50% SOC.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your LiTime charger, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Charger LED Flashes Red: This indicates a fault or protection mode. Check for reverse polarity connection, short-circuit, or battery over-voltage. Disconnect and reconnect the charger correctly.
- Battery Not Charging (0V): If the battery is deeply discharged, use the 0V activation function as described in Section 3.3.
- Charger Overheating: Ensure the cooling fan is not obstructed and there is adequate airflow around the unit.
