1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read and understand all instructions before using this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Indoor and Outdoor Use: This product is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Ensure all connections are secure and protected from direct water exposure when used outdoors.
• Electrical Safety: Always plug the string lights into a grounded outlet. Do not overload electrical outlets.
• Connection Limit: Do not connect more than 10 strings end-to-end. Exceeding this limit may cause overheating and fire hazard.
• Handling: Do not hang objects from the string lights. Do not secure the wiring with staples or nails.
• Bulb and Fuse Replacement: Always unplug the lights before attempting to replace bulbs or fuses. Use only the specified replacement parts.
• Damage Inspection: Regularly inspect the string lights for any damage to the cord, bulbs, or rattan balls. Discontinue use if any damage is found.

2. Package Contents

Verify that all components are present in your package:

• 1 x Vigdur Rattan Ball String Light (9.84 feet long)
• 10 x LED Bulbs (pre-installed within rattan balls)
• 10 x Rattan Ball Lampshades (pre-installed)
• 6 x Cable Ties (for installation)
• Spare Fuses and Bulbs (for replacement)

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove the string lights from the packaging. Untangle the string and inspect all components for any signs of damage. Ensure all rattan balls are securely attached to the light string.

3.2 Placement

Choose a suitable location for your string lights. These lights are designed for both indoor and outdoor use, such as bedrooms, patios, gardens, or for event decoration. Plan the layout to ensure the power cord reaches an outlet without tension.

3.3 Connecting Multiple Strings (Optional)

If you wish to extend the length, these lights feature an end-to-end connectable design. Locate the male plug at one end and the female receptacle at the other. Connect up to a maximum of 10 strings. Ensure connections are tight to prevent moisture ingress, especially for outdoor use.

3.4 Securing the Lights

Use the provided cable ties or other appropriate fasteners to secure the string lights in your desired position. Avoid pulling or twisting the wires excessively.

4. Operating Instructions

To operate the Vigdur Rattan Ball String Lights:

1. Ensure the lights are properly installed and secured.
2. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The lights will illuminate.
3. To turn off the lights, simply unplug the power cord from the outlet.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To clean the string lights, first unplug them from the power source. Gently wipe the rattan balls and wires with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

5.2 Bulb Replacement

Although the LED bulbs are long-lasting, if a bulb needs replacement, ensure the lights are unplugged. Carefully remove the rattan ball cover, then gently pull out the faulty LED bulb and insert a new one. Replace the rattan ball cover securely. Use only Vigdur-approved replacement bulbs.

5.3 Fuse Replacement

If the entire string light set fails to illuminate, check the fuse located in the male plug. Unplug the lights, slide open the fuse compartment, and replace the blown fuse with a new one of the same rating (spare fuses are included). Close the compartment securely.

6. Troubleshooting

• Lights not turning on:
  • Ensure the power plug is fully inserted into a working electrical outlet.
  • Check the fuse in the male plug and replace if blown (refer to Section 5.3).
  • Verify that all individual bulbs are securely seated and not damaged.
• Some bulbs are out:
  • Identify and replace any faulty bulbs (refer to Section 5.2).
• Lights are dim:
  • Ensure the power source is stable and providing adequate voltage.
  • If multiple strings are connected, ensure the total length does not exceed the maximum recommended limit of 10 strings.
