4. Operating Instructions
Filling the Kettle:
- Unscrew the lid and fill the kettle with fresh, cold water.

- Securely close the lid after filling.
Boiling Water:

- Press the 'Boil' button (often indicated by a boiling water icon) on the control panel.
- The LED display will show the current temperature and begin heating.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular Cleaning:
- Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Clean the interior with a soft brush or sponge and warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Ensure the power connector area is dry before plugging in again.
Descaling:
Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Descaling regularly will help maintain performance and extend the life of your kettle.
- Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water. Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution following the product instructions.
- Allow the solution to soak in the kettle for at least 30 minutes, or longer if the limescale is heavy. Do not boil the vinegar solution.
- Pour out the solution and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
- Boil a full kettle of fresh water and discard it to remove any residual taste or odor.
Storage:
When not in use, store the kettle in a dry, clean place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the power cord is neatly wrapped and not kinked.
