Safety Information
Adherence to these safety guidelines is crucial for preventing injuries and ensuring safe use of the bunk bed.
- Maximum Weight Capacity: The upper bunk and lower bunk each have a maximum weight capacity of 200 lbs. The trundle bed also has a maximum weight capacity of 200 lbs. Do not exceed these limits.
- Age Recommendation: The upper bunk is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
- Guard Rails: Always ensure guard rails are properly installed and secured on the upper bunk.
- Mattress Thickness: Use mattresses of appropriate thickness. For the upper bunk and trundle, a 6-inch thick mattress is recommended. For the lower bunk, an 8-10 inch thick mattress is recommended. Ensure the mattress surface is at least 5 inches below the top edge of the guard rails.
- No Horseplay: Prohibit horseplay on or under the bed.
- Climbing: Always use the provided staircase for entering and exiting the upper bunk. Do not use other means of climbing.
- Assembly: Ensure all connections are tight and secure before use. Periodically check and tighten hardware.
- Ventilation: Do not attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed for use with the bed, for example, but not limited to, hooks, belts, and jump ropes.
Package Contents
Before assembly, verify that all parts listed in your product's specific parts list (usually found in the packaging) are present and undamaged. This product typically includes:
- Bed frames (upper twin, lower full)
- Trundle bed frame and slats
- Staircase with integrated storage shelves
- Guard rails
- Slats for all bed sections
- Hardware pack (screws, bolts, nuts, etc.)
- Assembly tools (usually an Allen wrench)
Setup and Assembly
Assembly requires two adults. Follow the numbered steps provided in your specific assembly guide. Do not use power tools for tightening fasteners, as this may damage the wood.
Step 1: Unpacking and Preparation
- Clear a spacious area for assembly.
- Unpack all components and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Identify all parts and hardware using the provided parts list.
Step 2: Main Frame Assembly
Begin by assembling the main frames for the twin and full beds. Attach the side rails to the headboards and footboards using the specified hardware. Ensure all connections are finger-tight before fully securing.

Step 3: Staircase and Storage Assembly
Assemble the staircase unit, ensuring the storage shelves are correctly positioned and secured. Attach the staircase to the main bunk bed frame as indicated in the instructions. This unit provides both access to the upper bunk and integrated storage.
Step 4: Trundle Bed Assembly
Assemble the trundle bed frame and install its slats. The trundle is designed to slide smoothly under the lower full bed. Attach the wheels to the trundle frame for easy movement.
Step 5: Final Checks
Once all sections are assembled, carefully review all connections and tighten any loose hardware. Ensure the guard rails are securely fastened to the upper bunk. Place mattresses on each bed section.
Operating Instructions
Using the Bunk Beds
The upper bunk is accessed via the integrated staircase. Always use the staircase for safe entry and exit. The lower bunk provides a full-size sleeping area. Ensure mattresses are properly seated on the slats.
Using the Trundle Bed
The trundle bed is designed for occasional use and slides out from under the lower full bed. To deploy, gently pull the trundle frame outwards until fully extended. To store, push the trundle back under the lower bed until it is flush with the main frame.

Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your bunk bed.
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For spills, blot immediately with a clean cloth.
- Hardware Checks: Periodically (every 3-6 months) check all bolts, screws, and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain structural integrity.
- Moving the Bed: When moving the bed, lift it rather than dragging it to prevent damage to the frame and floor.
- Trundle Wheels: Keep trundle wheels free of debris to ensure smooth operation.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your bunk bed, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Wobbling or Instability: Ensure all hardware is fully tightened. Check that the bed is on a level surface.
- Trundle Not Sliding Smoothly: Check for obstructions under the bed. Clean the trundle wheels and tracks. Ensure the trundle frame is not warped or damaged.
- Squeaking Noises: Tighten all bolts and screws. Apply a small amount of lubricant (e.g., silicone spray) to metal-on-metal contact points if necessary, avoiding wood.
- Missing Parts: If parts are missing upon unboxing, contact customer support with your product model number and a description of the missing items.
