  • Verify Outlet: Test the power outlet with another device to confirm it is functional.
  • Power Adapter: If possible, try a different compatible power adapter.

7.2 No Internet Connectivity

  • Check WAN Connection: Verify that the cable from your modem/router is securely connected to the WAN port on the TZ270 and that the corresponding LED is active.
  • Modem/Router Status: Ensure your upstream modem or router is working correctly and has internet access.
  • WAN Configuration: Review the WAN settings in the TZ270's management interface (e.g., DHCP, Static IP, PPPoE settings).
  • DNS Settings: Ensure correct DNS servers are configured.

7.3 Cannot Access Management Interface

  • IP Address: Confirm you are using the correct IP address for the management interface.
  • Network Connection: Ensure your computer is connected to a LAN port of the TZ270 and has an IP address within the same subnet.
  • Firewall Rules: Temporarily disable any client-side firewalls that might be blocking access.
  • Browser Cache: Clear your browser's cache and cookies, or try a different browser.
  • Console Access: If web access fails, use the console port for direct access and diagnosis.

7.4 Slow Network Performance

  • Bandwidth Usage: Check the dashboard for high bandwidth utilization by specific applications or users.
  • Security Services: While essential, some security services (e.g., Deep Packet Inspection) can impact throughput. Review your security policy configurations.
  • Firmware: Ensure the device is running the latest firmware.
  • Hardware Resources: Monitor CPU and memory usage. If consistently high, consider optimizing configurations or reviewing network design.
