Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions before using this appliance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always place the dispenser on a level, stable surface.
  • Do not operate the dispenser with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Keep the dispenser away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.
  • Do not immerse the dispenser, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Supervise children when they are near the dispenser, especially when dispensing hot water.
  • Unplug the dispenser before cleaning or performing any maintenance.

Setup Guide

1. Unpacking and Placement:

  • Carefully remove the dispenser from its packaging.
  • Place the dispenser on a hard, level surface. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of clearance from the wall for proper ventilation.
  • Do not place the dispenser near direct sunlight or heat-generating appliances.

2. Initial Cleaning:

  • Before first use, clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Remove and wash the drip tray with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and reattach.

3. Water Bottle Installation:

  1. Open the lower cabinet door of the dispenser.
  2. Remove the cap from a new 3 or 5-gallon water bottle.
  3. Insert the probe assembly into the bottle opening. Ensure the probe is fully inserted and the collar is securely seated on the bottle neck.
  4. Slide the water bottle into the lower cabinet.
  5. Close the cabinet door.

4. Power Connection:

  • Plug the dispenser into a grounded electrical outlet.
  • Allow approximately 15-20 minutes for the water to reach optimal hot and cold temperatures before first use.

Operating Instructions

Dispensing Water:

  • Place your cup or container on the drip tray beneath the dispensing spouts.
  • For cold water, press the blue button (Figure 3).
  • For hot water, first slide the child safety lock (red button) upwards, then press the red button (Figure 3). Release the button to stop dispensing.

Maintenance

Self-Sanitizing Feature:

The Primo dispenser includes an automatic self-sanitizing feature that uses ozone to clean the internal water lines and reservoirs. This process runs periodically to ensure water quality. No manual intervention is required for this feature.

Drip Tray Cleaning:

  • The drip tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent overflow and maintain hygiene.
  • Simply slide the drip tray out from beneath the spouts.
  • Wash with mild soap and water, or place it in the dishwasher.
  • Rinse thoroughly and ensure it is dry before reinserting.

General Care:

  • Wipe down the exterior of the dispenser with a soft, damp cloth as needed.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No water dispensing.Water bottle empty or not properly installed.Replace water bottle or ensure probe is correctly seated.
Water not hot/cold enough.Dispenser recently plugged in or heating/cooling switches off.Allow 15-20 minutes for temperature stabilization. Check switches on the back of the unit (Figure 6).
Leaking from dispenser.Water bottle cap not sealed properly or damaged bottle.Check bottle for cracks or ensure probe is fully inserted.
Unusual noise.Normal operation of pump or compressor.Some noise is normal. If excessive, ensure unit is on a level surface.
