8. Troubleshooting
8.1. No Sound or Poor Audio Quality
- Check Connections: Ensure all cables (optical, 3.5mm, power) are securely connected to both the transmitter and the TV.
- Optical Cable Caps: Verify that the translucent plastic caps have been removed from both ends of the optical cable before insertion.
- TV Audio Output Settings: If using an optical connection, confirm that your TV's audio output is set to PCM. Many TVs default to Dolby Digital, which is not compatible with this device.
- TV Internal Speakers: For some TVs, it may be necessary to mute the TV's internal speakers or set their volume to zero to prevent interference or echo.
- Volume Level: Ensure the speaker's volume knob is turned up and not muted.
- Input Mode: Confirm the correct input mode (TV/Line In or BT) is selected on the speaker.
8.2. Speaker Not Charging
- Dock Placement: Ensure the speaker is correctly seated on the charging base.
- Power Connection: Verify the AC power adapter is securely connected to the transmitter and a working wall outlet.
- Direct Charging: If using direct Micro USB charging, ensure the cable and power source are functional.
8.3. Bluetooth Pairing Issues
- Pairing Mode: Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode (BT indicator light flashing).
- Device Proximity: Keep your Bluetooth device within close range of the speaker during pairing.
- Forget Device: If previously paired, try 'forgetting' the speaker from your device's Bluetooth settings and re-pairing.
