Model: ULMR067A01

1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the SONGMICS 4-Tier Stackable Metal Shoe Rack. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new shoe rack. Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain them for future reference.

This robust shoe organizer is designed to provide efficient storage for your footwear, capable of holding 12-16 pairs of shoes. Its stackable and adjustable design offers versatility for various spaces like entryways, closets, or garages.

2. Safety Information

  • Anti-Tip Kit: Always secure the shoe rack to the wall using the provided anti-tip kit, especially if stacking multiple units or placing in high-traffic areas. This prevents accidental tipping and potential injury.
  • Weight Capacity: Do not overload the shelves. Each shelf is designed to hold a maximum of 30 lb (13.6 kg). Exceeding this limit may compromise stability and cause damage.
  • Assembly: Follow all assembly instructions precisely. Ensure all connections are tight before use.
  • Placement: Place the shoe rack on a flat, stable surface to prevent wobbling.
  • Children: Keep children away from the unit during assembly. Do not allow children to climb on or play with the shoe rack.

3. Package Contents

Please verify that all components are present before beginning assembly. If any parts are missing or damaged, please contact customer support.

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is straightforward and typically takes minutes. It is recommended to assemble the unit on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

  1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Lay out all components and compare them with the package contents list. Ensure all parts are labeled correctly.
  2. Attach Adjustable Feet: Screw the adjustable feet into the bottom of the side frames. Adjust them later to ensure stability on uneven floors.

5. Operating Instructions

This shoe rack is designed for versatile storage. Here are key operational aspects:

  • Shoe Placement: Place shoes on the wire shelves. The angled position is ideal for displaying shoes, while the flat position provides a stable surface for various items.
  • Adjusting Shelves: The inclination of each shelf can be adjusted to be level or tilted. This allows accommodation for different shoe types, from flats to high heels, and even boots by removing a shelf.
  • Stacking Units: Multiple units can be stacked vertically to create a taller storage solution, maximizing vertical space. Ensure proper connection and use the anti-tip kit when stacking.
  • Horizontal Expansion: Units can also be bridged horizontally to expand storage width, allowing for personalized configurations.
  • Multi-functional Use: While primarily a shoe rack, its robust design allows it to store other items such as books, drinks, or general sundries, making it suitable for various rooms beyond the entryway.

To ensure the longevity and appearance of your SONGMICS shoe rack, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame and wire shelves with a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
  • Rust Prevention: While made of alloy steel, avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture to prevent potential rust.
