Setup and Initial Assembly

Your SHELL Ride scooter comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:

  1. Unfold the Scooter: Carefully lift the handlebar stem until it locks into the upright position. Ensure the folding mechanism is securely latched.
  2. Attach Handlebars: Insert the handlebar assembly onto the stem. Align the holes and secure it with the provided screws (typically 4 screws). Tighten them firmly using the included tool.
  3. Connect Cables: Ensure all visible cables are securely connected. The main cable for the digital display should be plugged in.
  4. Initial Charge: Before your first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery. Connect the charger to the charging port and then to a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change (e.g., from red to green) when charging is complete. Charging time is approximately 4.5 hours.
  5. Pre-Ride Check: Verify that the tires are in good condition, brakes are responsive, and all components are securely fastened.
