5. Operating Instructions

Once the adapters are correctly installed and powered on, they will automatically establish a MoCA network over your existing coaxial cables. The LED indicators on the front of the adapter provide status information:

• LAN LED: Indicates Ethernet connection status.

6. Troubleshooting

• No Power LED: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to the adapter and a working electrical outlet.
• No MoCA LED: Verify that coaxial cables are securely connected to both adapters and the wall outlets. Ensure your coaxial network is MoCA-compatible (not compatible with Directv, Dish Network, AT&T U-Verse, or other non-MoCA compliant subscription services).
• No LAN LED: Check the Ethernet cable connection between the MoCA adapter and your network device/router. Try a different Ethernet cable if necessary.
• Slow Speeds: Ensure all connections are tight. Check for any splitters in your coaxial line that might degrade the signal. Consider using MoCA-compatible splitters if multiple devices share the coaxial line.
