1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Blissun 7.2' Beach Umbrella. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use, setup, and maintenance of your new beach umbrella. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.
2. Safety Information
- Always ensure the sand anchor is securely twisted deep into the sand to prevent the umbrella from dislodging in windy conditions.
- Do not use the umbrella in severe weather conditions, including strong winds, heavy rain, or thunderstorms.
- Keep children and pets away from the umbrella during setup and takedown to avoid injury.
- Be mindful of the tilt mechanism to avoid pinching fingers.
- While the Oxford fabric offers UPF 50+ sun protection, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight should still be avoided, and sunscreen is recommended.
- Regularly inspect the umbrella for any signs of wear or damage. Do not use if damaged.
3. Package Contents
Your Blissun 7.2' Beach Umbrella package includes the following items:

4. Setup Instructions
- Unpack the Umbrella: Remove the umbrella and its pole sections from the carry bag.
- Assemble the Pole: Connect the two sections of the umbrella pole. Ensure the connection is secure.

- Locate the integrated sand anchor at the bottom of the pole.
- Flip down the handles on the sand anchor for better grip.
- Place the pointed end of the anchor into the sand.

- While holding the button, tilt the canopy to your desired angle.
- Release the button to lock the canopy in place. Ensure it is securely locked before leaving it unattended.

Air Vent Feature
The umbrella is designed with an air vent located at the top of the canopy. This feature increases the umbrella's wind tolerance and stability by allowing air to pass through, reducing the risk of the umbrella being lifted or overturned in windy conditions.

Closing the Umbrella
To close the umbrella, press the pinch-free push button located on the main pole and gently pull the canopy downwards until it is fully collapsed. Disassemble the pole sections and store them in the carry bag.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: The Oxford fabric canopy should be hand washed only. Do not machine wash or use harsh detergents. Allow to air dry completely before storing.
- Storage: Store the umbrella in its provided carry bag in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure it is completely dry to prevent mold or mildew.
- Inspection: Periodically check all components, including the pole, ribs, and anchor, for any signs of wear, rust, or damage.
7. Troubleshooting
Umbrella is unstable in wind:
- Ensure the sand anchor is screwed as deep as possible into the sand.
- Pack additional sand around the base of the pole for extra stability.
- Verify the air vent at the top is not obstructed.
- If winds are too strong, it is recommended to take down the umbrella.
Tilt mechanism is not locking:
- Ensure the tilt button is fully released after adjusting the angle.
- Check for any sand or debris obstructing the mechanism. Clean if necessary.
