2. Safety Information

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses or goggles, chemical-resistant gloves, and protective clothing, to prevent skin and eye contact.
• Ventilation: Use in a well-ventilated area. If ventilation is inadequate, use respiratory protection.
• First Aid:
  • Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.

3. Preparation and Application

3.1. Floor Preparation Before Application

1. Strip Floor: Completely strip the floor of all old finish using a recommended Diversey stripper according to label directions.
2. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the floor thoroughly with clean water to remove all stripper residue. Allow the floor to dry completely.
3. Neutralize (if necessary): If required, neutralize the floor with a recommended Diversey neutralizer according to label directions. Rinse and allow to dry completely.
4. Dust Mop: Dust mop the floor to remove any loose debris.

3.2. Application Instructions

1. Apply Finish: Apply 2-3 coats of undiluted Vectra Floor Finish using a clean finish mop or applicator.
2. Even Coats: Apply thin, even coats. Avoid puddling.
3. Drying Time: Allow each coat to dry completely (approximately 30-45 minutes) before applying the next coat. Drying time may vary depending on humidity and temperature.
4. Curing Time: Allow the finish to cure for at least 24 hours before burnishing or heavy traffic.

4. Maintenance

• Daily Cleaning: Dust mop or sweep daily to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Damp Mopping: Damp mop with a neutral floor cleaner (e.g., Diversey Stride) as needed.
• Spray Buffing/Burnishing: For enhanced gloss and durability, spray buff or burnish regularly using a recommended Diversey product and equipment.
• Restorative Cleaning: Periodically deep clean the floor using a recommended Diversey cleaner and re-apply additional coats of Vectra as needed.

Store the product in its original, tightly sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Protect from freezing. Do not store in direct sunlight or near heat sources. Optimal storage temperature is between 40°F (4°C) and 100°F (38°C).
