4. Setup and Installation

The RN 800 features a Garmin mounting system for easy and secure attachment to your bike's handlebar.

1. Attach the Mount: Secure the handlebar mount to your bike's handlebar using the provided rubber straps and 3mm hex key. Ensure it is tightened firmly and positioned centrally.
2. Install the Light: Align the RN 800 light with the Garmin mount. Insert the light into the bracket parallel with the handlebar and then twist it 90 degrees until it locks securely into position.
3. Adjust Angle: Adjust the angle of the light to ensure optimal illumination of the road ahead, keeping the anti-glare cut-off line effective.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Unlocking the Light

For safety during shipping, the RN 800 is shipped in a locked state. To unlock and activate the light:

• Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
• The indicator light will flash red and then turn green, indicating the light is now unlocked and ready for use.

5.2 Power On/Off and Mode Switching

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 1 second to turn the light on or off.
• Change Brightness (Low, Mid, High): With the light on, single-click the power button to cycle through Low, Mid, and High brightness modes.
• Switch to Flash Modes (Flash 1, Flash 2): Double-click the power button to switch between constant brightness modes and flash modes. Single-click to cycle between Flash 1 and Flash 2.

• Green: 21% - 100% battery remaining
• Red: 11% - 20% battery remaining
• Flashing Red: 1% - 10% battery remaining
