  2. Fill Water Tank: Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cool. Unscrew the safety cap counter-clockwise. Using the provided measuring cup and funnel, fill the water tank with up to 250ml of clean tap water. Do not overfill. Screw the safety cap back on clockwise until securely tightened.
  3. Attach Desired Accessory: Select the appropriate accessory for your cleaning task. Attach it firmly to the concentration nozzle or directly to the main unit if applicable. For the flexible hose, connect it to the steam outlet on the main unit, then attach other tools to the end of the hose.
  4. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

  1. Heating Up: Once plugged in, the indicator light will illuminate, signifying the unit is heating. The steam cleaner will take approximately 8-10 minutes to heat up and build sufficient steam pressure. The indicator light may turn off or change color when ready, depending on the model.
  2. Steam Release: To release steam, press and hold the steam trigger/button. For continuous steam, some models may have a lock switch. Release the trigger to stop steaming.
  3. Cleaning Surfaces:
    • Hard Surfaces (e.g., cooktops, ovens, tiles): Use the small nylon brush or concentration nozzle. Hold the nozzle close to the surface and move slowly to allow steam to penetrate and loosen dirt. Wipe with a clean cloth if necessary.

  4. Refilling (if needed): If steam production decreases or stops, the water tank may be empty. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely (at least 5-10 minutes) before attempting to refill. Slowly unscrew the safety cap to release any residual pressure, then refill as per step 2 in Setup Instructions.
  5. Finishing: When cleaning is complete, release any remaining steam pressure, unplug the unit, and allow it to cool down before storing.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your steam cleaner.

  • Empty Water Tank: After each use, once the unit is cool, empty any remaining water from the tank.
  • Clean Accessories: Wash removable accessories (like the upholstery cloth) with mild soap and water. Rinse and allow to air dry. Clean nozzles and brushes by rinsing under water.
  • Wipe Down Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.
  • Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits may build up inside the water tank, especially in hard water areas. To descale, fill the tank with a solution of equal parts water and white vinegar. Let it sit for 30 minutes (do not heat). Empty the solution and rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water several times.
  • Storage: Ensure the appliance is completely dry before storing. Coil the power cord neatly. Store the unit and its accessories in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
