- Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
2.2 Connecting to a Computer (Optional for Data Transfer)
- Connect one end of the supplied USB 3.0 data cable to the USB 3.0 port on the docking station.
- Connect the other end of the USB 3.0 data cable to an available USB 3.0 port on your computer.
2.3 Inserting Hard Drives/SSDs
- Ensure the docking station is powered off before inserting or removing drives.
- Gently slide your 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD into the appropriate slot (Slot A or Slot B) until it is firmly seated. Ensure the SATA connectors align correctly.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Data Transfer Mode
When connected to a computer via the USB 3.0 cable, the docking station functions as an external drive enclosure. Insert your HDD/SSD into either Slot A or Slot B. Power on the docking station. Your computer's operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux) should automatically detect the drive(s).
- UASP Support: The docking station supports UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) for faster data transfer speeds, provided your computer's operating system and USB controller also support UASP.
- RGB Lighting: The RGB LED strip at the base of the docking station will flash quickly when a hard drive is actively working (reading/writing data). When the drive enters sleep mode or is removed, the RGB lighting will transition to a breathing effect.

3.2 Offline Clone Function
The offline clone function allows you to duplicate a source drive to a target drive without connecting to a computer. This is ideal for creating backups or upgrading drives.
- Preparation: Ensure the docking station is powered off and disconnected from any computer.
- Insert Drives: Insert the Source Drive (the drive you want to copy FROM) into Slot A. Insert the Target Drive (the drive you want to copy TO) into Slot B.
- Important Note: The target drive (Slot B) must have a capacity equal to or greater than the source drive (Slot A). If the target drive is smaller, the cloning process will fail. All data on the target drive will be overwritten during cloning.
- Power On: Connect the power adapter and turn on the docking station. Do NOT connect the USB data cable to a computer.
- Initiate Clone: Press and hold the 'Clone' button for approximately 3-5 seconds until the cloning progress indicator lights (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) begin to flash.
- Monitor Progress: The indicator lights will illuminate sequentially to show the cloning progress: 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%.
- Completion: Once the 100% indicator light remains solid, the cloning process is complete.
- Power Off: Turn off the docking station and safely remove the drives.

4. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the docking station. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Handling Drives: Always handle hard drives and SSDs with care. Avoid dropping them or exposing them to strong impacts.
- Storage: Store the docking station and drives in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Power Cycle: If the device is unresponsive, disconnect the power adapter, wait a few seconds, and then reconnect it.
5. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Drive not recognized by computer | Loose connection, drive not initialized/formatted, driver issue. | Ensure USB cable and power adapter are securely connected. Check if the drive is properly seated in the slot. For new drives, initialize and format them via Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (macOS). Try a different USB port or cable. |
| Offline cloning fails | Target drive capacity too small, drives not properly inserted, cloning process interrupted. | Verify the target drive (Slot B) has a capacity equal to or greater than the source drive (Slot A). Ensure both drives are fully inserted. Do not connect to a computer during cloning. Ensure stable power supply. |
| Slow data transfer speed | USB 2.0 port used, UASP not enabled, drive performance limitations. | Connect to a USB 3.0 port on your computer. Ensure your operating system and USB controller support UASP. Check the health and speed of the HDD/SSD itself. |
| RGB lights not working or stuck | Power issue, internal malfunction. | Ensure the power adapter is connected correctly. Try power cycling the device. If the issue persists, contact customer support. |
