5. Operation

The Maxxima LED Porch Lantern features an integrated dusk-to-dawn photocell sensor for automatic operation.

Dusk-to-Dawn Sensor:

  • The photocell sensor is located on the top of the fixture.
  • When the sensor detects sufficient ambient light (daytime), the fixture will remain off.
  • As ambient light levels decrease (dusk), the sensor will activate the LED light.
  • The light will remain on throughout the night and automatically turn off when the sensor detects sufficient ambient light again (dawn).
