1. Important Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Power Connection

  1. Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN jack on the back of the unit.
  2. Plug the other end of the adapter into a standard AC wall outlet (230V AC ~ 50Hz).
  3. The display will light up, indicating the unit is powered.

4.2 Installing the Backup Battery

A CR-2032 lithium battery (not included) can be installed to provide backup power for time and alarm settings during a power outage.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert one CR-2032 battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.3 Setting the Clock Time

  1. With the unit powered on, press and hold the TIME button until the hour digits begin to flash.
  2. Press the HOUR button repeatedly to set the correct hour.
  3. Press the MIN button repeatedly to set the correct minute.
  4. Press the TIME button again to confirm and save the setting. The digits will stop flashing.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 FM Radio Operation

  1. Press the POWER button to turn on the radio.
  2. Press the TUNING ▼/▲ buttons to manually tune to your desired FM station. Press and hold for automatic scanning.
  3. Adjust the volume using the VOLUME -/+ buttons.

Saving and Recalling Presets

  1. Tune to the desired station.
  2. Press and hold the PRESET button until a preset number (P01-P20) flashes on the display.
  3. Use the TUNING ▼/▲ buttons to select the desired preset number.
  4. Press the PRESET button again to confirm and save the station.
  5. To recall a saved station, briefly press the PRESET button and then use TUNING ▼/▲ to cycle through the saved presets.

5.2 Setting the Alarms (AL.1 / AL.2)

The unit features two independent alarms.

  1. Press and hold the AL.1 or AL.2 button until the hour digits for that alarm begin to flash.
  2. Press the HOUR button repeatedly to set the desired alarm hour.
  3. Press the MIN button repeatedly to set the desired alarm minute.
  4. Press the AL.1 or AL.2 button again to confirm the time.
  5. After setting the time, the display will show options for the alarm source (e.g., "BU" for Buzzer, "RD" for Radio). Use the TUNING ▼/▲ buttons to select your preferred alarm source.
  6. Press the AL.1 or AL.2 button one more time to confirm the alarm source and activate the alarm. The corresponding alarm indicator (AL1 or AL2) will appear on the display.

Deactivating an Alarm

To turn off an active alarm, press the AL.OFF button. The alarm will be reset for the next day.

5.3 Snooze Function

When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/SLEEP button to temporarily silence it. The alarm will sound again after approximately 9 minutes.

5.4 Sleep Timer

The sleep timer allows the radio to play for a set duration before automatically turning off.

  1. With the radio playing, press the SNOOZE/SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through the available sleep timer durations (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, or OFF).
  2. The selected duration will be displayed briefly. The radio will automatically turn off after the set time.

5.5 USB Charging Port

The USB port on the rear of the unit provides a fast-charging output (1A rating) for compatible devices.

  1. Connect your mobile phone, tablet, or other USB-powered device to the USB port using a compatible USB cable (not included).
  2. The device will begin charging. The charging function operates independently of the radio or alarm functions.

6. Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity of your device.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
  • Liquids: Keep the unit away from water and other liquids. If liquid spills onto the unit, unplug it immediately and contact qualified service personnel.
  • Storage: If the unit is to be stored for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet and remove the backup battery. Store in a cool, dry place.
