4.1. Controls and Indicators

  • Power ON/OFF Button: Press to turn the unit on or off.
  • LCD Display: Shows battery level, output wattage, remaining runtime, and error codes.

5. Setup

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your GOLABS R300 Power Station.

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Initial Charge: Connect the AC Wall Charger to the DC Input Port and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The LCD display will show the charging status.
  3. Full Charge: Allow the unit to charge until the battery indicator on the LCD display shows 100%.

6. Charging the Power Station

The GOLABS R300 offers multiple convenient charging methods:

6.1. AC Wall Charging

Use the included AC Wall Charger to charge the power station from a standard household outlet.

6.2. Car Charging

Charge the power station using your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter outlet with the provided Car Port Cable.

6.3. Solar Charging

For eco-friendly charging, connect a compatible solar panel (recommended 80W to 100W) to the DC Input Port using the MC4 Solar Charging Cable. The built-in MPPT controller optimizes solar input.

6.4. PD 60W USB-C Charging

The PD 60W USB-C port supports both input and output, allowing for rapid charging of the power station itself using a compatible PD charger.

7. Operating the Power Station

To use the GOLABS R300, simply turn on the main power and then activate the desired output section.

7.1. Turning On/Off Outputs

  • AC Output: Press the "AC ON/OFF" button to enable or disable the AC outlets.
  • DC Output: Press the "DC ON/OFF" button to enable or disable the DC outlets.
  • USB Output: Press the "USB ON/OFF" button to enable or disable the USB ports (including PD USB-C).

7.2. Powering Devices

Connect your devices to the appropriate ports. The LCD display will show the real-time output wattage.

7.3. Power Saving Function

The GOLABS R300 has an automatic shutdown feature to conserve power:

  • AC Output: Shuts down automatically after 8 hours if output power is less than 3W.
  • DC Output: Shuts down automatically after 4 hours if output is less than 50mAh.
  • USB Output: Shuts down automatically after 3 minutes if output is less than 30mAh.

7.4. LED Light

The unit includes a built-in LED light on the back for illumination. Press the LED Light button to cycle through different brightness levels and modes (e.g., SOS).

8. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your GOLABS R300.

  • Avoid completely exhausting the battery, as this may affect battery life. If the battery is fully depleted, use the PD charging port first with a smaller wattage current to wake up the battery.
  • For long-term storage, do not overcharge the battery. Charge it periodically, preferably once a month, to prevent battery loss and failure.
  • Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

9. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your GOLABS R300, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Q1: Which devices can this GOLABS R300 portable power station support?
    A: GOLABS R300 portable power station can support devices rating less than 300W. Like phones, laptop, camera, drone, LED lights, little fans, etc. (Please confirm the open circuit current/voltage of your devices).
  • Q2: Does GOLABS R300 power station support pass-through charging? Can I use other outlets while charging?
    A: Yes, this GOLABS R300 portable power station supports pass-through charging. You can use all other outputs while charging (Except PD 60W port).
  • Q3: What is the maximum input from solar?
    A: Our GOLABS portable power station is built in an MPPT controller, the voltage is 10.8-23.5V (3A), the maximum input power can reach 60W (depends on sunlight). We recommend 80W to 100W solar panels.
  • Q4: Does your product have a power saving function?
    A: Yes, our GOLABS power station has a power saving function (see Section 7.3 for details).
  • Q5: When I press the buttons, it has a beeping sound, can I remove it?
    A: Yes, when you turn on the R300 power station, you can press the USB button for 3-5 seconds to remove the beeping sound. You can press the USB button for 3-5 seconds again to restore the sound.
