6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the clock's surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the materials and electronic components.
6.2 Handling
Handle the clock with care. The acrylic cover and glass tubes are fragile. Avoid dropping or subjecting the clock to strong impacts.
6.3 Power Supply
Always use a 5V/1-2A USB power adapter. Using an incorrect power supply may damage the device and void your warranty.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Clock does not power on.
- Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the clock and the power adapter.
- Verify that the power adapter is functioning correctly and providing 5V/1-2A output.
- Try a different USB port or power adapter.
7.2 Time is incorrect after power loss.
- The clock has a built-in button battery for memory. If the time is still incorrect, the battery may need replacement (consult support) or the clock was without power for an extended period.
- Reset the time manually as per the "Setting Time and Date" section.
7.3 Alarm does not sound.
- Ensure the alarm function is enabled in the settings.
- Verify the alarm time is set correctly.
7.4 Display is too dim or too bright.
- Check the ambient light sensor (between tubes 3 and 4) for obstructions.
- Adjust brightness manually if the automatic adjustment is not suitable.
7.5 Date display shows only month and year.
- This is a characteristic of the clock's display mode. While the day is set internally, it is not visually displayed in the standard date mode.
