2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the main unit in water or other liquid.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the appliance.
  2. Clean: Wash the air fryer basket and drawer with hot water, mild dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the inside and outside of the main unit with a damp cloth.
  3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of free space on the back and sides, and 10 cm (4 inches) above the appliance to allow for proper air circulation.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Basic Operation:

  1. Power On: Plug in the appliance. The power button will illuminate. Press the power button to turn on the display.
  2. Preheat Function: For best results, preheating is recommended. Select a preset or set your desired temperature and time, then press the preheat icon (often represented by a fan or wavy lines). The fryer will indicate when preheating is complete.
  3. Loading Food: Pull out the air fryer drawer and place food into the basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking. Slide the drawer back into the unit until it clicks into place.
  4. Using Preset Programs: The RAF55 includes 8 one-touch preset menus. Press the 'M' (Menu) button to cycle through the available presets:
    • Fries
    • Chicken
    • Fish
    • Shrimp
    • Pizza
    • Roast
    • Steak
    • Cheese Melt
    Once a preset is selected, the corresponding time and temperature will display. Press the Start/Pause button to begin cooking.
  5. Manual Cooking: To set time and temperature manually, press the temperature (℃) or time (Min) icons, then use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust. Press the Start/Pause button to begin.
  6. Shaking/Flipping Food: For many recipes, especially fries or smaller items, shaking or flipping the food halfway through cooking is recommended for even browning. The fryer may beep to remind you. Carefully pull out the drawer, shake or flip the food, and reinsert the drawer. The cooking cycle will resume automatically.
  7. Completion: The fryer will beep when the cooking cycle is complete. Carefully pull out the drawer and remove the food using heat-resistant tongs.
  8. Auto Shut-Off: The appliance will automatically shut off after the cooking cycle is complete or if the drawer is removed for an extended period.

  • Oil Usage: While air frying requires significantly less oil, a light spray or toss with a small amount of oil can enhance crispiness and flavor for many foods.

  • Temperature and Time: Cooking times and temperatures can vary based on food type, quantity, and desired crispiness. Refer to the preset programs as a starting point and adjust as needed.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Basket and Drawer: The air fryer basket and drawer are non-stick coated, PFOA-free, BPA-free, and dishwasher-safe. For manual cleaning, wash with hot water, mild dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn food residue, soak the basket and drawer in hot water with dish soap for about 10 minutes before cleaning.
  3. Interior: Wipe the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  4. Exterior: Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
