Setup

Before initial use, ensure all parts are clean. Assemble the juicer by following these steps:

  1. Place the main chamber onto the motor base, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
  2. Insert the auger (pressing screw) into the center of the chamber. Ensure it sits snugly.
  3. Place the mesh screen (sieve) into the chamber, aligning it correctly.
  4. Attach the self-feeding hopper unit on top, aligning the handle with the corresponding groove on the base. Rotate the hopper until it locks securely.
  5. Place the juice container under the juice spout and the pulp container under the pulp outlet.
  6. Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

The Hurom H-200 is designed for ease of use with its self-feeding hopper.

  1. Prepare ingredients: Wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly. For optimal performance and to prevent clogging, it is recommended to cut fibrous ingredients (like celery) into smaller pieces. Hard seeds (e.g., from mangoes) and large pits should be removed.
  2. Load the hopper: Place prepared ingredients into the self-feeding hopper. The large opening allows for whole fruits like apples, reducing the need for extensive pre-chopping.
  3. Start juicing: Turn the On/Off switch to the "On" position. The juicer will begin processing the ingredients.
  4. Collect juice and pulp: Juice will flow from the juice spout into the juice container, and pulp will be expelled into the pulp container.
  5. Reverse function: If ingredients become jammed, switch the juicer to the "Rev" (Reverse) position for a few seconds to dislodge them, then return to "On".
  6. Finish juicing: Once all ingredients are processed, allow the juicer to run for a short period to extract any remaining juice. Turn the On/Off switch to "Off".

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your juicer. All removable parts should be hand washed immediately after each use.

  1. Disassemble the juicer: Turn off and unplug the unit. Remove the hopper, auger, and chamber components.
  2. Rinse components: Rinse all detachable parts under running water. The strainer features grooves instead of holes, making it easy to rinse without scrubbing.
  3. Clean pulp outlet: The pulp outlet has a cap that can be opened to remove any remaining pulp residues.
  4. Use cleaning brush: Utilize the provided cleaning brush to remove any stubborn pulp from crevices or the strainer.
  5. Dry and store: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.

Note: The juicer components are not dishwasher safe. Hand washing is recommended to ensure longevity.
