This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation and maintenance of your new flashlight.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
2. Remove any protective plastic discs from the battery terminals. This is a crucial step for initial operation.
3. Insert the two 10000 mAh Lithium Polymer batteries into the flashlight with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
4. Screw the tail cap back on securely.

4.2 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the flashlight. The battery level indicator lights will show charging progress.

• Locate the USB-C charging port on the side of the flashlight, usually covered by a rubber flap.
• Open the rubber flap and insert the provided USB-C charging cable into the port.
• Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port, power bank).
• The blue indicator lights will illuminate and flash during charging. All four lights will be solid blue when fully charged.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off & Mode Selection

• Press the main power button to turn the flashlight ON.
• Subsequent presses of the main power button will cycle through the main beam brightness modes (High, Medium, Strobe).
• To activate the side lantern, quickly double-click the main power button.
• Once the side lantern is active, single presses will cycle through white light, red light, and flashing red light modes.
• To turn the flashlight OFF from any mode, press and hold the main power button for approximately 2 seconds.

5.2 Zoom/Focus Adjustment

The VASTFIRE flashlight features an adjustable focus mechanism to switch between a wide floodlight and a concentrated spotlight.

• Gently push or pull the head of the flashlight forward or backward to adjust the beam focus.
• Pushing the head forward will narrow the beam into a spotlight for long-distance illumination.
• Pulling the head backward will widen the beam into a floodlight for broad area illumination.

5.3 Power Bank Function

Your VASTFIRE flashlight can also serve as a power bank to charge your mobile devices.

• Open the rubber flap covering the charging ports.
• Connect your device's charging cable to the USB-A output port on the flashlight.
• The flashlight will begin charging your device. Monitor your device's screen for charging status.

5.4 Battery Level Indicator

The flashlight is equipped with blue LED indicator lights to show the remaining battery power.

• Four solid blue lights indicate 75-100% charge.
• Three solid blue lights indicate 50-75% charge.
• Two solid blue lights indicate 25-50% charge.
• One solid blue light indicates below 25% charge, and it's recommended to recharge soon.

• Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight with a clean, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid completely draining the batteries. Recharge them regularly, especially if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period.
• Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for a long time, remove the batteries.
• Water Resistance: The flashlight is rated IPX4 water-resistant, meaning it is protected against splashing water from any direction. Do not submerge the flashlight in water.
