Setup and Charging
Before first use, ensure the battery is fully charged. The hand blender is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
Charging the Battery
- Connect the charger to the charging port located at the top of the main blender unit.
- Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
- The battery indicator light will illuminate to show charging status. A full charge from empty takes approximately 2 hours or less.
- The battery indicator light signals when it is time to charge the battery.

Assembling the Hand Blender
- Ensure the main blender unit is turned off and unplugged from the charger.
- Align the blending arm or desired attachment (whisk, chopper) with the motor body.
- Twist the attachment clockwise until it locks securely into place.
- To remove, twist counter-clockwise and pull apart.
Operating Instructions
The KitchenAid Cordless Hand Blender offers variable speed control for precise results.
General Blending
- Attach the 8" blending arm to the main unit.
- Place ingredients in the 1-liter pitcher or a suitable pot/container.
- Immerse the blending arm into the ingredients.
- Press the variable speed trigger switch to begin blending. The speed increases as you press harder.
- Use the safety switch to prevent accidental activation.
- Move the blending arm up and down to ensure all ingredients are processed evenly.
- The pan guard can be used to protect cookware surfaces.

Using the Whisk Attachment
- Attach the whisk attachment to the main unit.
- Use for whipping egg whites to fluffy peaks, cream, or emulsifying vinaigrettes and mayonnaise.
- Start at a lower speed and gradually increase as needed.

Using the Chopper Attachment
- Attach the chopper attachment to the main unit.
- Place ingredients like herbs, nuts, or cheeses into the chopper bowl.
- Secure the lid and press the variable speed trigger to chop.
- Pulse for coarse chopping or hold for finer results.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your hand blender.
- Always unplug the charger and detach attachments before cleaning.
- The blending arm, 1-liter pitcher with lid, chopper attachment, and pan guard are dishwasher-safe (top rack recommended).
- Wipe the main blender unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
