2. Safety Instructions

4. Product Overview

4.1 Robot Vacuum

The robot features a powerful 2700 Pa suction, a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop function, and intelligent navigation systems.

4.2 Auto-Empty Station

5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking and Placement

1. Remove all packaging materials and protective films from the robot and the auto-empty station.
2. Place the auto-empty station against a wall on a hard, level surface. Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters of clear space on both sides and 1.5 meters in front of the station for optimal robot navigation.
3. Connect the power adapter to the auto-empty station and plug it into a wall outlet.

5.2 Initial Charging

Place the robot onto the auto-empty station. Ensure the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the station. The robot will automatically begin charging. For first-time use, fully charge the robot before operation (approximately 4-5 hours).

5.3 App Download and Connection

1. Download the ROIDMI App (or Xiaomi Home App) from your smartphone's app store.
2. Open the app and create an account or log in.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your ROIDMI EVE Plus device. This typically involves turning on the robot, resetting its Wi-Fi, and connecting to your home Wi-Fi network.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Starting/Pausing Cleaning

• On Robot: Press the Power button once to start or pause cleaning. Press and hold to turn off.
• Via App: Open the ROIDMI App, select your device, and tap the 'Start Cleaning' button.

6.2 Using the Mobile App

The ROIDMI App provides comprehensive control and customization options:

• Map Management: The robot will create a map of your home during its first cleaning cycle. You can then divide, merge, or rename rooms.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Dustbin and Filter

• Emptying the Dustbin: The robot's internal dustbin is automatically emptied by the auto-empty station. However, you can manually remove and empty it if needed.
• Cleaning the Filter: Remove the filter from the dustbin and tap it to remove loose dirt. Rinse with water if necessary, but ensure it is completely dry before re-installing. Replace every 3-6 months.

7.2 Main Brush and Side Brushes

• Main Brush: Remove the main brush cover and lift out the brush. Use the cleaning tool to cut and remove any tangled hair or debris.
• Side Brushes: Unscrew and remove the side brushes. Clean off any hair or debris. Replace if worn or damaged.

7.3 Water Tank and Mop Pad

• Water Tank: After each mopping session, empty any remaining water from the tank and allow it to air dry.
• Mop Pad: Remove the mop pad after each use and wash it. Air dry completely before reattaching.

7.4 Auto-Empty Station Dust Bag

The 3L dust bag in the auto-empty station should be replaced when full. The app will notify you when replacement is needed. Simply open the top cover of the station, remove the old bag, and insert a new one.

7.5 Sensors and Charging Contacts

Wipe all sensors (LDS laser sensor, cliff sensors, TOF edge sensor) and charging contacts on both the robot and the station with a soft, dry cloth regularly to ensure proper function.
