Control Panel and Ports (Refer to Figure 2 for general location)
- Power Button: Press and hold to turn the speaker on or off.
- Mode Button (M): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, FM Radio, USB, TF Card, and AUX modes.
- Play/Pause Button (►▮▮): Press to play or pause audio. In FM mode, press and hold to auto-scan for stations.
- Previous Track/Volume Down (-): Short press for previous track. Long press to decrease volume.
- Next Track/Volume Up (+): Short press for next track. Long press to increase volume.
- USB Port: For USB flash drive playback.
- TF Card Slot: For TF (Micro SD) card playback.
- AUX Input: 3.5mm jack for connecting external audio devices.
- Microphone Input: 6.35mm jack for connecting the wired microphone.
- DC 5V Charging Port: Micro USB port for charging the speaker.
Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
- Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the DC 5V charging port on the speaker.
- Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate (color may vary) to show that the speaker is charging.
- Once fully charged, the indicator light may change color or turn off. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.
- Disconnect the charging cable once charging is complete to preserve battery life.
2. Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see the LED lights activate.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again for approximately 3 seconds until the speaker powers down.
Operating Instructions
1. Bluetooth Pairing
- Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light or an audible prompt.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
- Search for available Bluetooth devices. You should see "KMS-3382" or "KIMISO" in the list.
- Select "KMS-3382" to connect. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation sound.
- You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.
2. TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing (Requires two KMS-3382 speakers)
The TWS LINK+ feature allows you to connect two KMS-3382 speakers for a stereo sound experience.
- Ensure both KMS-3382 speakers are powered on and are not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the "Mode" or "TWS" button (if available, otherwise try Play/Pause or a dedicated TWS button if present) until you hear a pairing tone.
- The two speakers will automatically search and connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the LED indicators on both speakers will synchronize.
- Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section.
- Audio will now play in stereo through both speakers.
3. USB / TF Card Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive or a TF (Micro SD) card into the corresponding slot on the speaker. Ensure the card/drive contains MP3 audio files.
- The speaker will automatically switch to USB or TF card mode and begin playing the audio files. If not, press the "Mode" button to select the correct mode.
- Use the "Previous Track" and "Next Track" buttons to navigate through songs. Use the volume buttons to adjust playback volume.
4. AUX Input
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX input port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the audio output jack of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, computer).
- Press the "Mode" button on the speaker until it enters AUX mode.
- Control playback and volume from your external device.
5. FM Radio
- Press the "Mode" button to switch to FM Radio mode.
- To auto-scan for available radio stations, press and hold the "Play/Pause" button. The speaker will automatically scan and save stations.
- Once scanning is complete, use the "Previous Track" and "Next Track" buttons to navigate between saved stations.
- For better reception, extend the antenna if available, or reposition the speaker.
6. Karaoke Function (Microphone Use)
- Connect the wired microphone (if included) to the Microphone Input jack on the speaker.
- Ensure the microphone is switched on (if it has an on/off switch).
- Play music through any of the available modes (Bluetooth, USB, TF, AUX).
- Adjust the microphone volume using the dedicated microphone volume knob on the speaker (if available) or the main volume controls.
- Speak or sing into the microphone. Your voice will be amplified through the speaker along with the music.
7. LED Light Control
The speaker features dynamic LED lights that synchronize with the music.
- The LED lights will automatically activate when the speaker is powered on and playing music.
- There may be a dedicated button to cycle through light modes or turn the lights off/on. Refer to your specific unit's control panel.
8. Call Function (Hands-Free)
When connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls.
- Answering a Call: When a call comes in, press the "Play/Pause" button once to answer.
- Ending a Call: During a call, press the "Play/Pause" button once to end the call.
- Rejecting a Call: Press and hold the "Play/Pause" button for 2 seconds to reject an incoming call.
- Redialing Last Number: In Bluetooth mode, double-press the "Play/Pause" button to redial the last dialed number.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the speaker's exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use.
