Setup Instructions
- Install Battery Pack: Open the battery compartment on your Xbox controller. Insert one of the provided 1200mAh rechargeable battery packs, ensuring correct polarity.
- Attach Backplate: Select the appropriate backplate for your controller model (Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One). Attach the backplate over the battery compartment until it clicks securely into place. The backplate features charging contacts that align with the ChargeDock.
- Connect Power: Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the Surge ChargeDock. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., console USB port, USB wall adapter).

Operating Instructions
Charging Controllers
- Ensure the Surge ChargeDock is connected to a power source.
- Gently place your Xbox controller, with the installed rechargeable battery pack and compatible backplate, onto one of the charging slots on the ChargeDock. Ensure the charging contacts on the backplate align with the pins on the dock.
- The LED indicator on the front of the ChargeDock for that slot will illuminate to show the charging status.
LED Indicator Status
- Red LED: Indicates the controller is currently charging.
- Green LED: Indicates the controller is fully charged.

Maintenance
- Keep the ChargeDock and charging contacts clean and free from dust or debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.

Troubleshooting
- Controller not charging:
- Ensure the ChargeDock is properly connected to a power source.
- Verify that the controller is correctly seated on the charging slot and the charging contacts are aligned.
- Check if the battery pack is correctly installed in the controller and the backplate is securely attached.
- Try using a different USB port or power adapter.
- LED indicator not working:
- Confirm the ChargeDock is powered on and a controller is placed on the charging slot.
- If the issue persists, contact customer support.
