  3. Press the button on the Gvirtue remote that you wish to program (e.g., 'Power'). The indicator light will flash slowly.
  4. Press and hold the corresponding button on your original TV remote (e.g., 'Power'). The indicator light on the Gvirtue remote will flash rapidly three times and then stay solid, indicating successful learning.

When the remote control's performance degrades or it stops responding, it is likely time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 3.1 to replace the two AAA batteries.

5.2 Cleaning

To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Remote is not responding:
    • Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace with fresh AAA batteries if necessary.
    • Check for any obstructions between the remote and your Roku device/TV. The remote requires a clear line of sight.
    • Ensure you are within the effective operating range of the remote.
  • Buttons require hard pressing or response is slow:
    • This remote is designed with tactile buttons. Ensure a firm press is applied.
    • If response remains consistently slow, try replacing batteries.
  • Learning function is not working or programmed buttons are inconsistent:
    • Ensure your original remote is an IR (Infrared) remote.
    • Verify the distance and alignment between the two remotes during the learning process (1-2 inches, head-to-head).
