Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.
Emptying the Dust Bin:
- Ensure the vacuum is turned off.
- Locate the dust bin release button (typically near the dust bin). Press it to detach the dust bin from the main unit.
- Hold the dust bin over a trash receptacle and open the bottom flap to empty the contents.
- Close the flap and reattach the dust bin to the main unit until it clicks securely.
Note: The dust bin capacity is 0.4 liters. Empty regularly to maintain suction power.
Cleaning the HEPA Filter:
- With the dust bin detached, carefully remove the HEPA filter.
- Tap the filter gently over a trash can to remove loose dust.
- If heavily soiled, rinse the filter under cool running water. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting. Do not use detergents or hot water.
- Replace the HEPA filter back into the dust bin.
Important: Allow the filter to air dry for at least 24 hours before reinstallation. Using a wet filter can damage the vacuum. Replace the HEPA filter periodically for best performance.
Cleaning the Brush Roller:
- Ensure the vacuum is turned off and disconnected from the extension wand.
- Locate the brush roller release mechanism on the bottom of the motorized brush head.
- Remove the brush roller. Use scissors to cut away any tangled hair or debris.
- Clean the brush roller and the brush housing.
- Reinsert the brush roller and secure it in place.
