Setup

  1. Battery Installation: The thermometer requires 1 LR44 battery, which is typically included. If not pre-installed, locate the battery compartment on the back of the device, open it, insert the battery with the correct polarity, and close the compartment securely.
  2. Power On: Press the ⑆ Power Button to turn on the thermometer.
  3. Select Temperature Unit: Press the ℃/℉ button to switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉) as desired.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for accurate temperature measurement:

  1. Clean the Probe: Before first use and after each use, clean the stainless steel probe with a damp cloth or mild soapy water. Do not immerse the entire thermometer in water.
  2. Insert the Probe: Carefully insert the stainless steel probe into the thickest part of the food or liquid you wish to measure. Ensure the probe tip is fully submerged and not touching any bones, fat, or the bottom of the pan, as this can affect accuracy.
  3. Read the Temperature: The digital display will show the temperature reading within 4-5 seconds. Wait for the reading to stabilize for the most accurate result.
  4. Use HOLD Function: If you need to remove the thermometer from the food but want to retain the last reading, press the HOLD button. Press it again to release the hold and resume live temperature reading.
  5. Use MAX/MIN Function: To view the highest temperature recorded since the thermometer was last turned on, press the MAX/MIN button once. Press it again to view the lowest recorded temperature. A third press will return to the current live reading.
  6. Power Off: Press and hold the ⑆ Power Button to turn off the thermometer. The device also features a 10-minute auto-shut off function to conserve battery life.
