6. Operating Instructions
The motion sensor has two adjustable settings: TIME and LUX.
6.1 TIME Setting
This knob controls the duration the light stays on after motion is detected. Available settings are:
- 10 seconds
- 45 seconds
- 120 seconds (2 minutes)
- 600 seconds (10 minutes)
6.2 LUX Setting
This knob determines the ambient light level at which the sensor will activate the floodlight.
- Sun icon (LUX works all day): The light will activate whenever motion is detected, regardless of ambient light conditions (day or night).
- Moon icon (LUX works only at night): The light will only activate when motion is detected and the ambient light is low (dusk to dawn). This setting saves energy.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the floodlight and sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth to ensure optimal performance. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Regularly check the power cable and mounting for any signs of damage or loosening. Address any issues promptly.
- No User-Serviceable Parts: The LED light source is not replaceable. Do not attempt to open or repair the unit.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on. | No power supply; LUX setting too high (daylight); Sensor malfunction. | Check power connection; Adjust LUX setting to 'Moon' for night operation or 'Sun' for all-day; Contact support if sensor is faulty. |
| Light stays on continuously. | Continuous motion in detection area; Sensor malfunction. | Ensure no constant movement in the sensor's field of view; Adjust sensor angle; Contact support. |
| Light turns on too frequently. | Sensor sensitivity too high; Environmental factors (e.g., moving branches, small animals). | Adjust sensor angle to reduce detection area; Ensure sensor is not pointing at heat sources or reflective surfaces. |
| Detection range is poor. | Obstructions; Incorrect mounting height; Sensor angle. | Clear obstructions; Ensure mounting height is 3-5m; Adjust sensor angle for optimal coverage. |
