Setup

1. Initial Power-On and SmartSet Time Setting

1. Plug the power adapter into a standard AC outlet.
2. The patented SmartSet system will automatically set the correct year, month, date, day, and time as soon as you plug it in. It also automatically recognizes Daylight Saving Time (DST).
3. If the time is incorrect, press the TIME ZONE button to cycle through the available time zones until your local time is displayed.

2. Battery Backup Installation

A button cell battery (included) maintains time and alarm settings during power interruptions.

• Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit.
• Open the compartment and insert the Lithium Ion button cell battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
• Close the battery compartment securely.

Operating Instructions

1. Alarm Functions

• Setting Dual Alarms: Press AL1 or AL2 button to set individual alarms. Use TUNE +/- buttons to adjust the alarm time.
• Alarm Modes: Choose from three modes: Every Day, Weekdays Only, or Weekends Only. Press the WEEK button to cycle through these options.
• Wake to Radio or Buzzer: Select your preferred wake-up sound.
• Snooze/Repeat Alarm: Press the SNOOZE/VOL- button to temporarily silence the alarm.
• Crescendo Wakeup Control: The alarm volume gradually increases for a gentle wake-up.

2. Radio Functions

• FM Radio: Press the FM ON/OFF button to turn the radio on/off. Use TUNE +/- buttons to change stations.
• Programmable Sleep-to-Music Timer: Set a timer for the radio to play before automatically turning off.

3. Bluetooth Speaker

• Pairing: Press the BT button to activate Bluetooth pairing mode. Search for 'Emerson ER100401' on your device and connect.
• Streaming: Once paired, you can stream audio from your Bluetooth-enabled device to the clock radio.
• Digital Volume Controls: Adjust volume using the dedicated buttons on the unit.

4. Charging Functions

• 15W Ultra Fast Wireless Charging: Place your Qi-compatible smartphone on the charging pad located on top of the unit. Ensure the phone is centered for optimal charging.
• USB Charging Port: Connect your mobile device to the 2.1A 5V USB port on the rear/side of the unit using a compatible USB cable.

5. Display and Night Light

• Dimmer Control: Press the DIMMER button to cycle through 3 levels of display brightness (Bright, Dim, Invisible) and an Auto Dimmer setting.
• Month/Date Display: Press the MODE button to momentarily display the current month and date.
• 2-Level Cyan Night LED: Press the LED button to turn the night light on/off and adjust its brightness level.

Maintenance

• Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Keep the unit away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust.
